Ohana in Hawaiian is the word for family and that is
the feeling created in these workshops. They are designed
to be small and intimate so that you may have direct personal
experiences with the kumu, teacher. Many of these workshops
are held in residential settings. All of these workshops
have a limited number of participants. If the workshop
is more than one day, you will be responsible for your
meals and accommodations. We will be glad to supply information
regarding accommodations or dining after you register.

| Lomi Lomi Weekend
with Papa K

This three day workshop in the basics of lomi lomi will be taught by Papa K Kepilino, trained from the age of 6 in lomi lomi. He was also taught the Breath of Ha by his grandfather. This is a traditional healing method used to mend the body and heal from long distances. This class will include basic instruction in the lima maka, "seeing fingers," technique of lomi lomi. This is a very gentle and intuitive form of lomi lomi.
Also included:
- The pule(prayers) of lomi lomi
- Basic la'au lapa'au (medicinal plants) used with lomi lomi
- lomi lomi alignment techniques
- Healing with the Breath of Ha ( a traditional healing method used to mend the body and heal from long distances
- Hands on experience massaging under the supervision of Papa K
- Wear comfortable clothes, all massage materials will be provided.

This four day conference is an experence in the rituals, culture and healing practices of Hawai'i. There will be day long orkshops in lomi lomi (massage), ho'oponopono (resolution and forgiveness), la'au apa'au (the use of medicinal plants), Hawaiian spirituality, oli (chant) and 'olelo (language.) All workshops will be presented by the Hawaiian Kupuna who are masters in these healing arts.
