Work Exchange Opportunities

Our staff plays an important part in creating an atmosphere of Aloha and comfort for the participants and teachers of our conferences. There are many benefits to a work exchange. Not only will you be able to attend part of the conference but you will be involved with a team of people who are committed to making a positive contribution to the world.

What is Expected in a Work Exchange?

  • That you will be at the conference from 30 minutes before registration, the first day of the conference until two hours after the conference.
  • That you are available to work 50% of the conference.
  • That you attend an orientation meeting at 5 PM the day before the conference.
  • That you will be on call throughout the conference.
  • That you attend a debriefing session at the end of the conference to give your suggestions and discuss your experiences.
  • That you distribute poster or flyers prior to the conference.
  • That you realize that you are representing 'Aina Me Kalani throughout the conference.
The Work Exchange Program
  • Is limited in availability depending on the needs of any individual conference and is usually limited to one work exchange person for the 1-3 day workshops.
  • Assignment of duties is on a first come-first serve basis. We will do our best to match you up with your preferences of work and there are no bad assignments.

Processing Fee for Work Exchange

  • In return for you contribution to 'Aina Me Kalani we will gladly waive the registration fee and assure that you will be able to attend at least 50% of the conference. (For most of the assignments the amount of time available at the conference is much more.)
  • Housing and meals are not included in the work exchange program.
  • To help defray administrative costs there is a $100 non refundable processing fee for all work-exchange applicants for work exchange at any of our conferences and a $75 fee for our one to three day workshops. To pay your processing fee, please visit the registration page by clicking HERE.
  • Being part of the Aina Me Kalani staff is a privilege and we look for responsible people who can work as a team and who have a positive, loving attitude of service. We reserve the right to refuse to use a person as a staff member or to revoke staff privileges at any time.
